Review
Xtreme Desktop 1.03.0 is a desktop engine program.
This program allows you to install and operate any of the free Xtreme Desktops that you can download from www.xtremedesktops.com.
For this review purposes, we´re going to use the James Bond Desktop, but the functions are the same with any desktop, they all have Xtreme Desktop 1.03.0 in common.
Once you install the Xtreme Desktop, the background of your desktop will change, displaying one of the chosen desktop images, three buttons on the upper right corner, and a folder on the lower right corner.
The first button, will allow you to switch the background image on or off. In the off mode, the background will be black, but the buttons and the folder will remain.
The second button allows you to switch between high or low resolution modes.
The third button wil offer you two sub-buttons: "New XD Skins", that will seek for new skins in Xtreme Desktop site, and "XD Help", that wil open a scrolling help for the program.
Finally, the lower right folder will let you choose between all the available wallpapers of the pack. |
